The Product Portfolio Director is responsible for supporting various technology & business segments through the development, management and go-to-market execution of world-class products and services which enables Enterprise Fleet Management employees to deliver best in class service to our customers. This role is responsible for leading and inspiring a product management team which supports multiple product portfolios and strategic initiatives. This role requires cross-functional leadership by working closely and collaborating with Product Strategy and Development, CX, Digital Product, IT, various levels of business stakeholders as well as third-party vendors to execute the product roadmap for the portfolio of products.
The Product Portfolio Director sets the vision for a large set of product lines which are critical to the success of Enterprise Fleet Management. The Director has responsibility for overseeing the development of product strategies and roadmaps, leading new product introductions and achieving key performance metrics for the business. It will also focus on the skills development and accountability of the Product Management team.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, and requires a hybrid work schedule.
Compensation for this position will depend on varying circumstances, including the Cost of Labor Market in which the work is performed, candidate work experience, and time in position.

Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and road map in accordance with Product Development methodology and processes; ensure the vision for all products in their product suite meets business objectives
- Ensure solutions to problems, as well as business goals and objectives, represent the customers' viewpoint on a day-to-day basis across multiple products to confirm harmonization of the product suite
- Direct product life cycles from product introduction to end-of-life
- Communicate business needs and desired outcomes to team and drive initiatives from inception to release
- Establish and manage a data-driven approach to develop product scorecards; Manage scorecards through line reviews to evaluate product health and growth for all products
- Develop direct reports to their full potential through training, coaching and feedback; Provide guidance on the development of indirect reports, which may include multiple reporting layers; Work with individuals on the team to create training and learning opportunities and cultivate strengths and talents; Assist in resources planning and staffing for the team, anticipating needs for additional resources and personnel through forecasting and budgeting
- Understand business strategy from executive team to ensure Product team alignment
- Develop strategic business case for product suite efforts and obtain organizational support
- Monitor competitor activities and collect competitive information; Deliver collected data to internal stakeholders to support strategic and tactical business planning
- Direct the launch of new products in partnership with cross-functional business partners on product design, buy-in, and key decisions
- Ensure the product team implements a comprehensive process for identifying user needs and feedback, and recommend product enhancements to address unmet needs of the customer and/or improve competitive advantage
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
- Must reside in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing, Technology, or applicable field preferred)
- Must have 10+ years' experience as a Product Manager, Technical Project Manager or Business Analyst (or a combination of those roles)
- Must have management experience including leading multiple projects, product managers or owners
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements
