This position offers a hybrid work environment, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring a semi-regular on-site presence as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities

As an IT Senior Manager - Endpoint Engineering, you will be responsible for leading engineering initiatives across two teams for endpoint platforms, including desktops, laptops, printers, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Your role will involve ensuring the efficiency and continuous improvement of both cloud-based and on-premises solutions. As a leader, you will set goals, define objectives, establish processes, and allocate resources to align with the strategic vision of the department. This position is ideal for a leader eager to make a significant impact and grow within a collaborative team environment.

This role offers the chance to work with various teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with Enterprise Mobility's technology strategy. By leveraging your expertise in emerging technologies, security, and engineering best practices, you will help create secure and user-friendly solutions for our business.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Identify, influence and drive opportunities to further our strategy pertaining to end user endpoint devices, device management platforms and virtual desktop platforms such as Intune, Jamf, Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix.
  • Own and drive multiple simultaneous projects and roadmaps within the area through close coordination with various IT teams and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with leaders and teams throughout IT, including the Information Security Office and Digital Workplace Services organizations, to ensure alignment and partnership. Provide leadership in key interactions with others to define, analyze, and deliver customer solutions. Build trust to influence peers and others to break down barriers and drive results.
  • Lead people management activities, including development, training, interviewing, hiring, performance and compensation reviews.
  • Interface with key partners, suppliers and procurement teams to layout strategic direction, incorporate into functional roadmaps and cost-effective solutions, and contributes to contract and commercial review.
  • Provide escalation for operational teams as a last tier of support for the business. Maintain ultimate responsibility for systems that are implemented.
  • This position is located at our Lakeside campus off Page Avenue in St. Louis, MO, and may require the ability to travel between our local campuses as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
  • 8+ years IT related experience
  • 4+ years of experience successfully leading teams in large scale enterprise or service provider environments
  • 2+ years of experience in managing technical teams
  • Superb communication skills are required as demonstrated by the ability to effectively defend ideas and solutions; convey complex information regarding risk and security issues in a manner that is easily understood and actionable
  • Must have displayed leadership and team centric skills, along with strong solution orientation
  • Must demonstrate superb relationship management skills, specifically around the ability to create a non-adversarial atmosphere and be viewed as a partner
  • Must demonstrate flexibility and agility related to critical thinking and making decisions with complex considerations as it relates to business implications
  • Ability to scope and manage financials and labor needs for the solution and project efforts
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Experience with product & project management
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, SCCM, and Jamf
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Citrix, AVD, W365
