Responsibilities
The Renter Solutions department has an exciting opportunity for an IT Manager! The Renter Solutions department is responsible for the retention and maintenance of driver and loyalty profile information for Enterprise Mobility customers, and making this data securely available to other services, solutions, and third-party vendors. Renter Solutions applications are critical to the rental booking and fulfillment processes across our operations globally. We work closely with our business stakeholders from around the globe, for all of our brands, to make enhancements to our applications and to stay ahead in our ever-evolving global operations. This is an exciting time to join the Renter Solutions team as our roadmap includes API evolution and migration to cloud, in addition to supporting business capabilities around core pillars of our company strategy.
As an IT Manager on the Renter Solutions team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of operational, tactical, and strategic activities on a day-to-day basis. You'll determine time and resources needed to complete assignments and lead team members in prioritizing and completing assigned tasks and projects. You'll also be responsible for people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews.
Here, you will be responsible for helping define the overall strategic vision for an evolving solution, as well as planning and execution of activities to meet tactical day-to-day objectives.

- Manage employees effectively, helping them grow and be successful in their career
- Lead the implementation of new IT systems leveraging strategic technologies and platforms, offering new business capabilities
- Plan and execute operational, tactical, and strategic activities on a day-to-day basis, ensuring accountability and meeting commitments
- Help define the goals and objectives to support the overall strategic vision for Renter Services, and the processes and resources needed to fulfill them
- Build and maintain strong relationships across IT teams to improve the quality of our solutions and gain consensus
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand and achieve their vision, while assessing implications and mitigating risk to our IT systems
- Communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Qualifications
Required:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii)
- Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Prior experience leading an application development team
- Demonstrable success mentoring and coaching IT professionals, to deliver on the team's prioritizes and enable the employees to achieve their career goals
- Proficient knowledge of project management concepts, from planning and inception, through implementation and support in a matrixed resource environment
- Professional experience working with API or services based solutions
- Professional experience working with AWS
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and working within sprint teams, using Jira and Confluence
- Demonstrated ability to quickly comprehend a broad array of initiatives to direct Project Scope, Requirements Gathering and Change Management to meet changing Business and IT objectives
- Awareness and understanding of concepts in development, and ability to challenge or foster ideas in development appropriately
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Superb communication skills, with the ability to engage an audience across a broad range of technical expertise and/or business acumen
- Exceptional collaboration skills; works well with others as it relates to generating ideas
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
