ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Technology Manager is responsible for leading multiple high-performing teams within the Entegral Value Stream model. In this role, you create goals, objectives, processes and guide resourcing of the teams in your area. With your leadership in setting the vision and growth goals, the engineering teams achieve exceptional results in our scaled agile working model. Your technical leadership background is pivotal in cultivating the soft skills and technical skills needed to grow into future leaders. Your ability to manage budgets, vendors and technical needs of the department is critical to success in this role.

Security protects the organization's digital assets and information against the ever-present threats of breaches and vulnerabilities. This function encompasses a wide array of activities, starting from the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures to detect and mitigate threats. This area also manages user access to systems and data, educates employees about security best practices and risks, leads incident response efforts with respect to data breaches and cyberattacks, ensures compliance with security standards and regulations, conducts audits, and assesses third-party security risks.In this position, you will directly influence the security posture of our products and business by leading a team of Analysts. The GRC team will provide security risk management to the organization, with an emphasis on the identification, analysis, treatment, of risks in the company. A successful candidate will be a logical, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Someone who understands vulnerabilities, threats, and controls and is able to communicate risk to technical and non-technical audiences.

You will be responsible for managing and execution of operational, tactical, and strategic activities on a day-to-day basis, including technical support for individual tasks. This position is also responsible for people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, performance and salary reviews. The Senior Manager position develops and maintains procedures that support team activities associated with specific areas of expertise or responsibility and leads individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in California, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $143,100 to $182,500 annually. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include bonuses.

  • Be responsible for leading, developing, and retaining a team of diverse security professionals.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's security posture, capabilities, risk appetite, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on compliance and regulatory initiatives that promote SOC2 compliance
  • Leads by example in championing a problem-solving mindset, addressing obstacles with creativity and resourcefulness
  • Drive the principles, decisions, or direction from the council and committees into the rest of the Security and Engineering organizations
  • Drives Cross-Functional Collaboration with leaders from various departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and deliver results
  • Establish and maintain key performance metrics and monitor to ensure compliance with established standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain documented standards and policies, so employees and stakeholders know how they're expected to conduct themselves with each passing incident and new regulation - helping the organization remain compliant and stay on top of emerging risks.
  • Prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to various stakeholders including executive leadership.
  • Protect our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities, following security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • For flexible or full remote work from home positions, reliable high speed Internet connection and dedicated work space are required
  • Must be located in one of the following locations: AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA,TN, TX, VA, WA or WI
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years experience successfully leading cross functional, onsite and virtual teams in Information Security/Cybersecurity
  • Experience implementing and maintaining a security frameworks such as SOC, ISO 27001/2
  • Thorough experience assessing risks, vulnerabilities, threats, and controls
  • Experience and prior success managing a governance, risk team, including responsibility for performance management, team/ employee development, and hiring
  • Demonstrable aptitude for leadership, collaboration, and relationship management
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills, partnered with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements/responsibilities and deliver high-quality results
  • Must be able to work independently with a sense of ownership to accomplish department and project tasks
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Preferred:

  • CISSP, CISM or CISA certifications
  • Experience in Agile methodology using JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience in insurance and/or collision industries
  • Experience supporting cloud-based large scale or high-transactional volume SaaS products
  • Experience with cloud integration technologies, DevOps techniques, security protocols in a growing IT environment
