Responsibilities
As an Engineer 1, Software you will be responsible for development of applications to solve business and technical problems as well as the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, and programs in the delivery of practical systems solutions. You should have experience with hands-on development. This includes detailed software design, developing code with unit tests and refactoring to implement the design, correcting flaws based on requirements testing, and integrating the applications.
You will innovate and collaborate on technological strategies working with a team of experienced product owners, architects, leads, developers and business resources to build high-performing enterprise systems that improve business outcomes, and increase staff productivity and financial performance. You will be supporting on-call rotations and production problem trouble shooting.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii)
- Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
- Must have successfully participated in and completed the Enterprise Mobility IT Internship program.
- 1+ year of experience in object oriented programming (experience from college coursework, boot camps, internships, etc. may be applied)
- Experience in the full software development lifecycle
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Must be flexible in the face of changing priorities and requirements
- Must possess initiative, results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic
- Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Experience programming in modern UI frameworks, such as, React and Angular
- Experience in Agile methodology and JIRA
- Experience with Postgres or other database technologies
- Experience with Java
- Experience with PHP/Python/Bash/Javascript
- Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration tools
- Experience with AWS including EC2, RDS, and Cloudformation
- Experience with source control management (GIT or SVN experience preferred)
