JOB ROLE SUMMARY
The Data Center Operations Analyst provides technical support to computer operators and account teams, as well as other support groups. They perform functions in both a mainframe and a client server environment, maintain and assist with ongoing technical applications and operations, to ensure the efficient and optimal operation of the Data Center. They are responsible for scheduling software support, workload balancing of scheduled and non-scheduled work within the mainframe and server environment, support of code promotion and reporting products on mainframe and server environments.

Low complexity assignments - provide oversight/review
Regularly lead self and others and/or established as Product SME and/or established as specialist
Understands how whole picture aligns to overall Ensono strategy
Facilitate solution development and research.
Workload balancing of scheduled and non-scheduled work within the mainframe and server environment.
Support of code promotion and reporting products on mainframe and server environments.
Give presentations when needed. Offer unique solutions to complex situations that need to be automated within same platform or between mainframe and open systems platforms.
Able to use more of the complicated features of the scheduling software, code promotion or reporting. System admin work on scheduling software, code promotion or reporting.
Work with clients and other groups as needed to develop technical solutions within the data center environment.
Troubleshoot issues with vendor support for package upgrades or conversions.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent work experience
HS grad/equivalent and at least 8+ years experience in IT and with a Job Scheduler or BS degree
Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
Strong written / verbal Communication skills
