About our team
As a member of the Automation Engineering team, you will work on producing mission-critical platforms, tools, and processes that will ensure the highest levels of availability and reliability of all our applications. Your Responsibilities:
- Vast experience in designing and implementing complex Workflows and Flows
- Catalog item development (including code and configuration logic)
- Perform integrations using ServiceNow orchestration or Integration Hub. Experience in using existing spokes and custom integration in single and distributed environment.
- Expert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mapping
- Hands-on coding and scripting (automation) experience using OO languages - JavaScript, Python and integrating same in workflows
- Proficient knowledge of Linux/ Windows OS and Bash/ PowerShell scripting
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTTP, REST/SOAP, AJAX, JSON
- Solid understanding of data structures, Application Scoping, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns
- Understands the concepts of Task-based applications, Core data and the interplay across the platform
- Knowledge of managing Update Sets, Releases and Clones as it pertains to SDLC across multiple ServiceNow instances
- Knowledge of ServiceNow CSM and familiarity with CSM to ITSM integrations
- Experience designing and configuring security in Domain Separated and CSM environments
Required skills:
- Deep understanding of the business or functional requirements and a foundational knowledge of ServiceNow to effectively capture the requirements.
- During requirements sessions, provide recommendations to streamline and optimize processes and align with the overall ServiceNow framework.
- Collect requirements from functional teams to decompose high-level information into technical, functional, and non-functional details
- Identify, prioritize, model, and document business, process, automation, and data requirements.
- Perform detailed requirements analysis to critically evaluate the information gathered from various sources, reconcile conflicts, and identify any critical missing information required by developers to enable configuration or customization.
- Partner with the Solution Architect and development team to determine the best technical solution to address the requirements.
- Ensures requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
- Create exhaustive Test cases to cover all the scenarios and participate in testing of Integrated solutions.
- Demo the solution to functional teams to obtain UAT.
- Design and implement E2E trainings to clients and internal team members.
- At least 2 years of experience with ServiceNow, Having knowledge of ITSM, ITOM and CSM modules and related automation.
- Experience in Process automation, Lean six sigma, Project Management is added advantage.
