Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the DJO Canada warehouse and ensuring that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting business goals and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety.
Key Accountabilities:
- Overseeing Operations: Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels through daily cycle counts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient order fulfillment.
- Staff Management: Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics and liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Performances monitoring: review financial performance against the budget to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment and ensure all equipment is in good condition.

Essential Skills:
- Lead and motivate a team, ensuring everyone works efficiently and harmoniously
- Understand customer needs, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Able to identify quickly and resolve issues that may arise in the warehouse operations.
- Manage inventory, schedules, and drive logistics efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing to avoid errors and delays.
- Maintain safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
