Role Summary:

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for DevOps and Linux system administration to join our team as a Senior DevOps Engineer. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, enhancement, and uptime of infrastructure supporting our customer-facing and internal applications.

Key Responsibilities:

The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for our Managed Service Provider.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems.
  • Participates in technical requirements gathering, data AWS infrastructure design.
  • Maintain optimal cloud resource utilization by right-sizing instances and investigating overspend.
  • Implements and refines application and infrastructure monitoring to ensure high availability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving great patient outcomes.
  • High School Diploma.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps and/or systems administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, ECS).
  • Extensive experience with key AWS services required: ECS, ECR, EC2, and RDS.

Work Environment | Physical Demands:

  • Typical home office environment.
  • Physical Demands: May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboard, phone, print. Required to talk and hear. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time and use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and to manipulate keys on a keyboard and operate portable input devices (e.g., smart phone, mouse). May occasionally reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time.
