Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the operations of our Field Inventory team. The duties will include, but not limited to, receiving field inventory, inspecting returned inventory for quality and identification, performing inventory transactions, maintaining records and logs related to inventory processes, moving work-in-progress inventory throughout processes, boxing/shipping orders, and facilitating interdepartmental communication, and contributing to improvement related activities for the purpose of enhancing operational processes to better serve customers.

Key Responsibilities: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.

  • Responsible for receiving and processing medical equipment return shipments, including data input into ERP system (NetSuite)
  • Inspect returns for quality and identification, complete paperwork and properly record and store information
  • Receive, Unbox, and verify device inventory
  • Deliver device(s) to corresponding department(s)
  • Ensure working environment is safe and clean
  • Perform necessary disinfection and documentation required for returned products
  • Operate basic functions of medical devices prior to disassembly
  • Basic diagnostic testing of medical device may be required
  • Disassembly of Medical devices and components for refurbishment or scrap
  • Compile and inspect incoming/outgoing kits for compliance with specifications and usage and check inventory records to determine availability of requested product
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
  • Implement and support Quality initiatives
  • Confer with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel in order to expedite or trace deliveries or for alternative product obtainment (e.g. loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments)
  • Organize, retrieve, or place goods from/into stock received via multiple sources
  • Perform inventory cycle counts in accordance with processes and procedures for approved inventory and materials
  • Manage inventory activity in Netsuite ERP System
  • Possess knowledge of all Enovis Foot & Ankle product families and contents of surgical trays
  • Manage and organize all inventory related documentation
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, such as identifying and solving problems

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous work experience in an inventory fulfillment position desired.
  • Ability to articulate clearly, professional oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with little supervision.
  • Previous work experience should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, flexibility, detail-oriented work style, professional appearance and attitude, and ability to effectively communicate with customers/clients at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality and sensitivity of customer records.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other general office equipment.
  • Must have basic mathematical skills.
  • Must have legible handwriting.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP software preferred (NetSuite experience highly valued).

Work environment | Physical demands:

  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to tug, pull, or lift up to forty (40) pounds.
