Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Summer Intern to join our Manufacturing and Operations team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and exciting field of Medical Device Orthopedics. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to the manufacturing and operational processes that drive the production of cutting-edge orthopedic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with the Manufacturing team to identify areas for process improvement, efficiency enhancements, and cost reduction.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards through participation in quality control activities.
  • Production Support: Contribute to day-to-day manufacturing operations, including monitoring production metrics, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, assess performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various departments, including R&D, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
  • Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation related to manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
