Summary:

The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products. Creating and maintaining forecast models for their demand plan segments and marketing groups for existing and new products, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and distributor replenishment analysis. This position is the talent pool for the Senior Demand Planner.

They work proactively with operations, identifying variances due to new opportunities or changes in trends from historical performance and forecasted future activities to better meet customer needs. Improving relationships with master scheduler, which will lead to effective knowledge sharing, through research and analysis of forecast variances to arrive at an optimal consensus forecast to better guide the company

They create the demand segment forecast which incorporates current and accurate marketing information that allows the company to correctly predict customer demand and provide supply chain with the appropriate information to plan how to meet it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation (Demand plan segment, marketing groups) for a monthly time horizon
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, review statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning
  • Refined systems and methods to continually improve forecasts so that the company can better anticipate customer needs.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process


  • Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future. Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields desired
  • APICS or other forecasting Certification desired
  • Zero to three years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
  • Knowledge of Kinaxis/rapid response, or other software related to demand planning is preferred
  • This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments
  • Strives for continuous learning to keep skills up-to-date
  • Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office (Advance Excel preferred)
  • Advance English level (written and verbal)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
