Job Title/High Level Position Summary:

The role is responsible for setting the internal and external communication strategy for our fast-growing Enovis Reconstructive "Recon" segment (Global Surgical and Global Foot & Ankle businesses) and will report to the Vice President of Corporate Communications. This includes managing internal and external communications, developing PR and thought leadership campaigns, and employee and executive communications to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals for both its business and culture. This role is also responsible for crisis communications as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy strategic campaigns and an innovative communications strategy to establish and advance the businesses in Enovis' Recon segment around the world.
  • Drive strategy for corporate communications, across all channels, to build and amplify the company's reputation with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a key business partner and resource to the Enovis Recon leadership team for key communications, campaigns and events. Establish and maintain standards and templates for communications to ensure alignment to corporate communication strategy and standards. This includes day-to-day communications, as well as targeted change and communications support for strategic initiatives across the business (e.g., organizational changes, strategy updates).
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure a consistent, transparent, and impactful communication flow with employees across the business. Act as a bridge between leadership and employees, providing timely updates on organizational developments.
  • Bring forward new ideas and creative ways to execute media activity that support business goals.
  • Work with the Marketing Communications teams to drive a modernized approach to digital and social media engagement.
  • Manage and direct agency relationship to execute communications campaigns.
  • Plan and support corporate events, including quarterly Town Halls (hybrid virtual and in-person).
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, journalism or relevant field.
  • Healthcare communications experience.
  • 5+ years experience managing both internal and external communications in large, global companies with diverse work populations.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in developing narratives, leadership communications, and communications strategies and tactical execution.
  • Ability to synthesize a variety of activities into clear and compelling frameworks to help stakeholders understand how discrete actions support a broader agenda.
  • Problem solving/critical thinking - approaches challenges and problems in a rational, thoughtful manner that assures understanding and effective resolution.
  • Experience leading digital communications strategies including employee intranet, website, email, and social media efforts.
  • Understanding and experience executing change management methodologies.
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills.

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Desired Characteristics:

  • Some flexibility will be required to connect with colleagues and markets in different time zones.
  • Graphic design experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Hubspot and SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Foreign language fluency a plus: Italian, German, French, Japanese
