Senior Earned & Owned Media Manager Estée Lauder Companies Switzerland (80-100%)
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Earned and Owned Media Manager. This role is central to our mission of advancing brand priorities through innovative media strategies across our strong & diverse luxury brand portfolio and fostering stakeholder relationships. In this position you will lead the earned / owned media strategy for the Estée Lauder brand and support the execution hands-on.
The position entails identifying, building, and managing media relationships and managing the branded Earned Media team across our full luxury portfolio as well as hands-on joint execution of the Estée Lauder brand earned media strategic plan.

• Architect and execute an innovative and future oriented earned and owned media strategy in line with the corporate & branded priorities, across all relevant press and consumer advocacy groups
• Champion our corporate influencer strategy across brands, spearheading earned media plans that propel brand priorities and strategic objectives
• Build and realize an exciting event calendar for the brand Estée Lauder, to create unique brand moments online and offline
• Build & maintain solid KPI tracking, budgeting & media campaign analyses
• Identify current and future opportunities for growth & consumer connection through earned media & trend to action focus strategies
• Mentor & support brand teams, enriching their social and digital content strategies, and overseeing the integration of User Generated Content to amplify brand visibility.
• Construct and sustain long-term collaborations with Brand Ambassadors, key opinion leader and influencers, focusing on a cohesive brand-building narrative
• Direct media relations, crafting and disseminating press materials, and managing crisis communication with acumen linked to social media
• Foster cross-functional partnerships & brand collaborations, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies
• Foster ongoing industry & consumers trends, identification & leveraging on the insights
• Project Management & support of the overall media strategy (in cooperation with Corporate Communications)
• Talent Development & Management of direct and indirect reports
• Project manage and hands on execution of Estee Lauder brand earned media plans
Qualifications
The profile:
- 8+ years of experience in the fields of communication, influencer, and digital PR/media (having a background in influencer agencies is a plus)
- Knowledge and experience in developing & execution of Earned & Owned Media communication strategies, organizational development, and conceptual marketing
- Solid knowledge and experience in using social media platforms and tools (TT, IG, YT, Pinterest, etc.) and in managing influencers/creators and PR communities
- Experience with social listening tools and community management tools (Social Bakers, Popular Chips, Sprinklr, etc.)
- Stellar communication skills, paired with strategic thinking and an ability to engage across various levels of an organization project management skills
- Multitasking and analytical abilities are a must, matrix organization experience a plus
- Creative and commercial thinking
- Brand & luxury knowledge (marketing frameworks, brand strategy, gaining insights)
- Exceptional leadership skills, able to rally a team towards shared goals and nurture talent within a collaborative environment
- Fluency in German and English is a requirement, French is a big plus
