Director E-Commerce, Retailer.com - Estee Lauder/AERIN North America
The Director of E-Commerce, Retailer.com E-commerce manages the brand presence and overall ecommerce business for Estee Lauder and AERIN Beauty on all North America Online Retail partner websites. They will own/lead the day-to-day online operations relating to said brands with responsibility for brand presence on-site, programming, top-line sales as well as collaborating with the online retail partners on optimizing each retailer site. They lead the strategic direction and partner on managing/optimizing the co-op marketing budget for digital tactics like on-site media networks.
The Director needs to have a clear understanding of how to drive E-commerce sales through site experience and marketing/promotions. An analytical and strategic thinker is required to balance program planning and execution with post program reporting and insights. It is imperative that this person have very strong collaborative relationship competencies as working closely with NOAM Commercial team, Marketing, Advertising, Creative, and Planning Executives as well as the Retailer Buying and Site Merchandising Teams is critical to execute programs across channels (i.e. omni-channel).

Reports directly to VP of E-commerce. In addition to the fore mentioned, NOAM and Retailer partners, work closely with but not limited to: Global Online, Digital Marketing, NA Creative, Account Management, Corporate Key Account Managers, Finance and Legal.
- Lead & develop growth strategy for each retailer.com account in partnership with the Commercial & Marketing teams.
- Drive day to day retailer.com business to achieve sales and brand goals (plan, rank, penetration, market share).
- Lead promotional programming and building blocks to achieve market share growth at each account, in collaboration w/ Acct Management team, inclusive of promotional, basic, and new launch forecasting/planning and sampling. Include testing of new data driven ideas for growth
- Lead semi-annual site audits, recommending site improvements and optimizations to drive growth for our Top 5 Accounts.
- Partner with NA Growth Hacking team on growth strategies and execution of Retailer Media Networks.
- Lead and assist with relationship development with online retailers (i.e.: macys.com, nordstrom.com, etc.) including strategy and execution.
- Partner with Account leads on monthly demand forecasts for retailer.com accounts.
- Lead the growth of existing pure play accounts and act as key account manager for each (i.e. Dermstore, Birchbox, Net-a-Porter).
- Partner with North America counterparts to ensure synergies between online and offline and digest promotional calendars to call out relevant conflicts & opportunities, including brand.com.
- Work with Creative and Digital Marketing to plan retailer specific asset needs for product launches including copy, images, GWPs, promotions, category features, etc. Provides all assets in a timely matter to retail.coms.
- Oversee the creation and execution of all promotional activities and merchandising strategy as well as sampling by account and category (launches and re-promotes).
- Maintain product launch calendar and side by sides for each retailer website.
- Suggest opportunities to improve processes in partnership with Retailer.com growth hacking team.
- Own calendar and agendas for calls w/ retailers and internal teams as well as recap meetings.
- Support implementation and QA of promotion plans for retail partners and measurement of online marketing/promotion success.
- Gather data from retailers to supply site analytics and sales/program successes based on metrics set at the onset of campaigns.
- Assist team in deck development for key meetings and business reviews.
- Oversee, develop, and mentor Assistant Manager and Coordinator, Retailer.com.
- Manage PO, Invoice & Budget process for Retailer Media Networks within the online budget.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Must have a proven track record of 7+ years of retailer or online experience.
- Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and possess the drive to succeed within a very competitive landscape.
- Needs to be a creative and analytical thinker and problem solver, thrive in fast paced, ever evolving environment, prioritize and oversee multiple projects at once, have attention to detail and work well with cross functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner.
- BA/BS required; MBA preferred. E-commerce experience strongly preferred.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $202,100 Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
