What You'll Do
The Cybersecurity Infrastructure - Sr Engineer will be forward-thinking and self-motivated, responsible for leading and driving best practices oversight for our Network, Endpoint and Server Cyber Security Tools and Controls across complex on-premises, Cloud and multi-partner environments.
You will be responsible for:
- Support of communication and implementation of secure designs on on-premises and cloud networks and platforms.
- Network Security Controls such as Next Gen Firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, Network Sandboxing
- Running and maintaining Endpoint Security Controls on an Enterprise scale.
- Running and maintaining AppSec controls such as WAF and Secure API Gateways.
- Securing IaaS/PaaS/SaaS public cloud and DevOps environments
- Facilitating deployment orchestration and automation with a focus on security with tools such as ARM Templates, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps etc.
- Addressing and correcting systemic security defects by working closely with product teams and development teams.
- Troubleshooting experience diagnosing performance and network control issues.
- Proactive introduction of security guidelines to development teams and work with the teams to implement security patterns.
- Acting as a resource for the team at large with regards to security best practices, techniques, and lessons learned
- Providing insights and advice into the maintenance of security policies and standards for all deployment environments.
- Supporting the Security Operations Center for any relevant incidents.

Qualifications
Who You Are
The Cybersecurity Infrastructure - Sr Engineer will partner with the entire organization and work collaboratively as part of the Global Security Engineering and Operations Team to support a variety of activities to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Estee Lauder's Global Business and IT functions.
Must have excellent track record and proven ability to produce effective, innovative solutions on an enterprise scale. Constantly working to mature/improve the team's overall processes and protection/detection/response capabilities. Provide mentorship to the junior members, bringing them up to speed swiftly. Overhaul our documentation repositories, as well as provide guidance on improvements.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant cybersecurity expertise and eight (8) years of relevant network/systems expertise
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
- Excellent and extensive experience with cyber security and IT disciplines including networking, operating systems, authentication protocols, general enterprise network architecture, and security incident response.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft/Linux operating systems including but not limited to deployment, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent experience and knowledge with multi-tiered network applications, common ports, and protocols used in those communications.
- Strong critical thinking, deductive reasoning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate east-west across multiple diverse teams in both focus, skillset, and geo-location.
- Regular expression, scripting, and programming experience are preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to describe highly technical concepts in non-technical terms.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $98,500 to $165,750. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
