The Assistant Manager Employee Engagement, Communications and VIVA GLAM plays a key role in the development an implementation of a new engagement strategy, and work on Employer Branding as a whole. You will lead communications and engagement initiative ranging from regular e-newsletter to employee touch bases and 1-on-1, town halls, recognition and reward programs and take a central role in planning and executing employee events. This role will coordinate all employee volunteerism programs, as Aids Walk, Mental Health Awareness Day and World Earth day and support the MAC VIVA GLAM Fund in related communications. In addition this role is responsible for implementing sustainability practices in our One Soho Square office and share best practices with the regions. Lastly this role connects the global brand to all NGO VIVA GLAM partners and drives external awareness around VIVA GLAM.

Employee Engagement Programs
• Coordinate M• A• C's Global Volunteer Initiatives. Responsibilities include:
• Drafting internal communication
• Supporting external communication
• Creating internal training materials and hosting training calls
• Ordering and distributing VIVA GLAM t-shirts when applicable
• Managing volunteer projects on M• A• C's volunteer site
• Planning NYC corporate volunteer opportunities
• Reporting on volunteer metrics
• Facilitate general administration of the M• A• C Team Grants program. Draft internal communication, oversee volunteer projects on M• A• C's volunteer site, track staff participation, and provide metrics
• Coordinate the Matching Grant Program in North America and UK by tracking grant requests
• Facilitate check deliveries in North America to select non-profit partners with local field staff
• Administer the VIVA GLAM Ambassadors Program by drafting quarterly newsletters and creating materials for yearly training webinars and ongoing presentations
• Support Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Manager of Grantmaking in the administration of over $500,000 of grants through the AIDS Walk matching grant program and M• A• C Team Grants program in Salesforce, the Fund's online grant portal
• Draft internal communication for M• A• C field staff including the quarterly M• A• C Update, Basic Training materials, and the VIVA GLAM Ambassador Program
• Support Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Team for M• A• C Pride employee donation campaign on M• A• C's volunteer site and manage internal communication for campaign
• Support internal teams in the development of engaging and well-designed presentations for M• A• C senior leadership to present at internal meetings
• Facilitate Employee Engagement Survey and incorporate feedback into our employee enegagement strategy
• Design and publish e-newsletter showcasing news, updates and employee stories/profiles
• Organize employee events and parties and member of the MAC Culture Club
• Member of the MAC Movement and partners with Corporate Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging team to incorporate best practices and drive an inclusive workplace
• Manage MAC's Green Team in partnership with the Estee Lauder Companies' Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability team. Responsibilities include leading regular meetings and working with the Green Team to advance office and brand-wide environmental projects
• Manage website updates and requests via CMS tool and partners with ELC/M• A• C Online when needed
• Manage all charitable product donations
• Communicate quarterly results to ELC through CSR report and to the M• A• C organization through bi-weekly newsletter, and bi-monthly sustainability newsletter
• Responsible for all internal communications on MYELC
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Position requires 3+ years' relevant experience in corporate citizenship and volunteerism and/or corporate communications
• University degree required
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively around changing deadlines, and flexibility to support other business functions when required
• Knowledge of corporate citizenship trends and best-practices
• Strong project management skills with the ability to execute multiple, simultaneous projects with quality results
• Pro-active, entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving
• Preferred knowledge of the following tools: volunteer management website, grant database, website CMS, social media platforms (Profits for Purpose, Salesforce, or similar programs)
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
