EF is searching for Teachers for our summer program. This would be the perfect job to boost your CV by gaining experience in working in an international and academic company.

What will you be doing?      

Work with the support of a professional academic team and award-nominated materials to deliver the EF academic program to classroom groups of up to 17 language students. You will be planning lessons that create an inspiring safe and supportive classroom environment where building your students’ confidence in using language is your primary concern. Next to planning and teaching the classes, you are also responsible for tracking attendance and attending all teacher meetings. Watching the group bond and their language flourish is rewarding for experienced and novice teachers alike, which is what brings so many of our teachers back year on year.

What will you take away?  

After a summer of working as an EF Teacher, you will enhance your teaching knowledge and experience by working with a team of diverse teachers and Academic management.  You will be adaptable and capable of solving various issues without hesitation. Working in an academic environment, you will have seen how students grow in their language, make new friends and create summer memories that last a lifetime.

Who will you be working with? 
In EF we are 52,000 staff, faculty and teachers, working in over 612 offices and schools across 52 countries, and having a global presence in 116 countries. But we are also a local team of managers, teachers, accommodation-, student services-, activities coordinators (and many more) who run the school together. We have different backgrounds and many stories to share with you.

What is required?

To be successful in this role, we need you to be legally able to work in the UK. Therefore, you need to have a UK/EU passport or a work permit. To keep up with the standards in our school, we also need you to speak at least C2 English. For teaching qualifications, you will need a minimum of a 60 Hour Online TEFL.

Our teaching roles are flexible with 2-week contracts or work up to 12 weeks at our larger sites. Summer roles from June, July, and August.
