As a member of the Department of Campus Safety you will work alongside other departments to ensure the safety of visitors from around the world so they can enjoy the best immersive educational experience possible.
We are seeking individuals with at least three years of experience and training in law enforcement, medical, or the security industries; or equivalent combination of education and experience. You will act as a first responder for medical situations that occur on the campus as well as report and investigate various complaints of criminal or civil concerns. While working a rotating shift, to include weekends and holidays, you will patrol the campus grounds to detect and report hazardous conditions along with criminal or suspicious activities to ensure our occupants have a pleasant experience. You will learn how to utilizes the latest in investigative techniques, along with how to exceeds daily expectations, while ensuring that our guests have a positively memorable educational experience.

We utilize the latest in technology, including access control, video surveillance, software programs, and radios. You will need to be able to utilize these items while responding to stressful conditions in a quick and calm manner. You will need to be able to calm persons in emergency, emotional, or stressful situations while making sound decisions.
Candidates may not have prior allegations or convictions that would prevent criminal courtroom testimony under California Evidence Code §788.
