The Experience/Brand/Marketing (EBM) division at Edward Jones is focused on developing a profound understanding of prospective clients', current clients' and branch teams' needs to create an unparalleled experience. Leveraging these critical insights, we implement tailored solutions and enhance our experiences in ways that enable clients to achieve their financial goals.

From branding to communication to experiences, your work will have a significant impact not only within the EBM division but firm-wide. Working in this collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will be challenged to bring fresh perspectives that allow us to continually exceed client expectations in an ever-evolving landscape.

As an Experience Insights Team Leader, you'll have the opportunity to drive the firm's insight efforts and research capabilities to deeply understand and anticipate client and branch needs and preferences within the financial services industry. This includes establishing capabilities for exploring and understanding trends, opportunities and risks that define and could affect attitudes, preferences, services, programs and client behavior over time. This also includes developing significant insights programs for stakeholders who are developing strategy and experiences for specific client segments. Working closely with partners across the firm, you and your team will develop significant insights and help translate those into tailored business strategies that help the organization better serve clients, anticipate their needs and deliver a hyper-personalized experience.

What you'll do...

  • Lead a team responsible for delivering client, investor and branch insights to inform highly complex strategies and decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for cross-divisional initiatives, to align with firm objectives and strategies, brand standards and quality expectations.
  • Develop insight and research capabilities that are repeatable and scalable, and enable the delivery of an unparalleled experience across a range of firm priorities and initiatives, including a range of qualitative and quantitative research capabilities.
  • Gravitas to present in the organization and drive insights into the business.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for people development.

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Skills/Requirements

What you'll need..

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience related to driving strategic initiatives with at least 3-5 years of direct leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and executing both qualitative and quantitative research and analytic programs to answer broad, strategic business questions.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing repeatable, scalable, and sound research capabilities.
  • B.A. or B.S. in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or related field required. M.S/M.A./MBA strongly preferred.
  • Advanced to expert ability to develop broad business strategy through innovative and strategic thought.
  • Expert ability to lead multiple projects/people at same time and manage complex matters or processes.
  • Expert ability to deliver results and communicate with internal and external parties on many levels.
  • Strong relationship building and influence skills, highly collaborative, strong emotional intelligence/maturity and senior level executive presence.

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
