Edward Jones is investing in maturing our enterprise risk management capabilities and is seeking a highly skilled, strategic and stakeholder-oriented individual to serve as Sr Enterprise Risk Manager in our Compliance division.

- Execute Compliance risk strategies, in alignment with developing enterprise risk program capabilities and the company's strategic objectives.
- Represent Compliance division interests in enterprise risk management workstreams focused on maturing and delivering risk management capabilities firmwide.
- Deploy and operationalize enterprise risk management capabilities within the Compliance division.
- Lead the evolution and production of aggregate and modernized compliance risk reporting for division and executive leadership.
- Develop and support compliance risk management routines that may include enterprise programs, risk assessments, new products and services post implementation assessments, among others.
- Provide consultative support to division stakeholders and assist senior leadership achieving multi-year plans and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct thorough analyses of high impact strategic issues confronting the Compliance division, collaborating with cross-functional teams as required to determine impact to risk management framework.
- Aid in the formulation of strategic team objectives, integrating findings from internal research, external developments, and leadership priorities.
- Drive progress against stated short, medium, and long-term strategies.
- Communicate strategic priorities and execution plans across the firm via presentations, meetings, and written communications.

Hiring Minimum: $117000
Hiring Maximum: $199300

- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced Degree(s) or Certification(s) in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Analytics is a plus, but not required.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference for compliance risk, ethics, conduct risk, analytical and/or core strategy work within financial services.
- In-depth knowledge of the securities brokerage and investment advisory industries
- Analytical and critical thinking, attention to detail, adaptability, problem solving, and the ability to operate in ambiguous situations.
- Knowledge of risk management, ethics, controls, and reporting frameworks.
- Concise and effective communication skills.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills, mental flexibility, informal leadership capabilities, as well as a thoughtful and structured approach to delivering new capabilities.
- Demonstrated career progression and skill in building networks and achieving consensus.
- Demonstrated experience and comfort communicating strategy, plans, and results to senior leadership.
- Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
