Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

Are you detail oriented with good organizational skills? Do you enjoy problem solving and developing new ways of working? If so, you may be an ideal candidate for this role at Edward Jones. As a member of Canada Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of the firm's fee-based products processing. Primary responsibilities include the support of projects end enhancements to the fee-based platforms, data analysis, processing, and system controls and reviews. Your demonstrated ability to think creatively, identify opportunities and risks, recommend solutions, and support decision making rooted in facts will help us achieve our objectives. You will work cross-functionally to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of fee-based products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of fee-based products, systems, processes and controls
  • Work independently and within cross-divisional teams on projects, enhancements, production fixes, etc. as it relates to fee-based programs
  • Participate in requirement gathering, test script writing and execution of tests supporting enhancements and projects related to the firm's fee-based programs.
  • Provide technical support and training to associates
  • Provide detailed analysis of information along with alternative solutions and present recommendations to business area leaders for process or system improvements. Implementation of the agreed upon solutions would also be required
  • Analyze, research and interpret, complex information utilizing a high degree of industry and regulatory knowledge related to the business area.
  • Frequent communication with home office leaders, large groups of associates, and/or vendors to resolve issues, answer escalated questions and carry out responsibilities.
  • Process assigned functions, meet service levels. Ensure controls are in place and maintained.
  • Manage complex functions such as data gathering/analysis, creation and troubleshooting of macros and complex spreadsheets, reconciliation, etc.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in projects/testing, issues, initiatives, audits.
  • Actively champion change and innovation, improve process and service to Branches/Clients.
  • Lead personal development.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate.

Hiring Minimum: $66000
Hiring Maximum: $108700

Skills/Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Financial Services experience (Mutual Funds, Equities, ETF's, Fee Based Products).
  • A university or college degree (in Finance preferred).
  • Canada Operations experience preferred.
  • Works well within a Team and independently.
  • Strong time management skills. Drives for results in a fluid, potentially unstructured environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills across functional teams and with vendors
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Possesses an aptitude for analysis, problem resolution, reconciliation, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and skills (ex. Excel, Visio, macros).
