This team sits within the Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) division. WMAS Purpose: We innovate, develop, evolve, and manage integrated advice, planning, products, and services (APPS), leveraging deep understanding of client and branch team needs. We enable branch teams to deliver unparalleled value for our clients and communities through wealth management offerings and experiences, from discovery to planning and implementation, supported by thought leadership and expert services. Products is an area within WMAS focused on enabling personalized client outcomes by leading the strategy and evolution of the firm's wealth management offering. We lead and coordinate product strategy and ongoing product management. We also provide clients with a broad supply of quality products and services, aligned with the firm's advice and guidance, to meet our clients' personalized needs.

Edward Jones' high net worth segment is a growth area in which the firm is investing to develop a new, premium client offering, inclusive of a set of competitive products and services. The High Net Worth Advice, Planning, Products & Services (HNW APPS) team owns the portfolio of HNW products and services - all the way from product strategy to execution. We partner both across Edward Jones and externally to innovate, build, deliver, and manage the advice, planning, products and services needed to serve our high net worth clients. As part of this team, you will have an opportunity to shape Edward Jones' high net worth strategy and collaborate with matrixed teams to deliver against our products and services roadmap. This will involve leveraging data, insights and industry knowledge to identify and assess products and services that will be necessary to transform the experiences of high net worth clients and the branch teams who serve them. You'll have an opportunity to build, maintain and influence a diverse network of business partners both within Edward Jones and externally to deliver the APPS that fulfill our unique high net worth value proposition.
You will work to champion the HNW client and branch experience associated with our products and services for HNW offerings such as Edward Jones Generations, the Client Consultation Group, and other new HNW advisor models. The HNW APPS team deploys multiple methods to deliver value to HNW clients, including a HNW Referral Network, product and service partnerships, and leading through other WMAS and firm initiatives. Team members will have the opportunity to contribute to and/or lead matrixed teams in support of one or more of these areas.
What You Will Do:
- Work closely with the HNW APPS Director and/or General Partner to develop and execute the firm's HNW Products and Services strategy to ensure Edward Jones has products and services needed to serve HNW clients.
- Design, develop and manage innovative HNW products and services that align with firm advice and guidance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams to develop and integrate products and services into the client and branch team experience for HNW offerings, such as Edward Jones Generations, Client Consultation Group, and other advisor models.
- Responsible for HNW APPS product or service partner, referral network member relationships and/or matrixed team relationships of significant size, complexity, number and impact to:
- Manage and maintain their portfolio of products including making recommendations to firm governance committees to add/remove/change products, services or vendors as needed.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in products and services. Shape and drive execution of business plans that align with the strategic direction of the firm.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in the division such as Advice and Guidance, Financial Planning and other Products areas to ensure that advice, planning and products are tailored to HNW client segment needs.
- Influence the design and development of integrated platforms, systems, tools and processes that create a better client and branch team experience.
- Resolve complex/broad product and service partner or referral member issues as escalated. Determine root cause and apply systems thinking to prevent future occurrences.
- Regularly interface with both internal and external product and service partner peer contacts (e.g. relationship managers, HNW Segment, WMAS, Branch Teams, Experience COE, Change & Enablement, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Digital).
- Ensure that products and services literature and enablement resources are effective (quantity and quality), aligned with key firm messages and compliant. Assist in the design of efficient and effective ongoing processes and controls.
- Assist in the coordination and alignment of the partner and/or referral member relationship management activities described above across all HNW APPS product and service partners.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the assigned HNW products and services for the firm. Includes advanced knowledge of multiple products and services, features, benefits, pricing, etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace.
- Lead broad division, firm or industry initiatives and events as needed to represent the product or service line in alignment with firm strategy (e.g., cross-divisional projects, internal committees, product partner events, regional events, industry groups, etc.)
- Understand and interpret the rules and potential changes in the tax, legal and regulatory environment impacting HNW products and services. Make recommendations that help shape the firm's position with respect to tax, legal and regulatory issues for these products/programs.
- Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and effectiveness of the product line while minimizing risk to clients and the firm.
- Mentor team members and assist in the ongoing development of their subject matter expertise

What Experience You Need:
- Bachelor's degree required with quantitative discipline preferred (e.g. business, finance, economics, accounting, etc.).
- 6-10 years of relevant financial services experience
- Product management, product strategy/development, and or consulting experience strongly preferred
- Series 7, 66 required within 12 months of hire.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence without authority to deliver shared goals
- Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex business situations to drive towards action and results
- Data driven problem solving and decision making
- Plan, organize and prioritize across multiple bodies of work
- Highly collaborative with solid written, verbal and presentation skills
What Could Set You Apart:
- Broad and some advanced knowledge of HNW products and services
- Experience in High Net Worth client wealth management
- Progress toward advanced degree or relevant industry designation(s) preferred (e.g., MBA, CFP, CFA, ChFC,)
- Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
