Job Overview

Position Schedule: Full-Time

The mission of the department is to ensure we hire the right Financial Advisors, create a best in class onboarding experience and act as advocates for financial advisors to fully realize the Edward Jones Opportunity. As a Senior Recruiter you will be working with regions and Home Office stakeholders to assist in the development of the recruiting, transition, and integration strategy of experienced Financial Advisors with practices to transition, and to support the growth and health of the firm. You will evaluate a candidate's fit with the firm including but not limited to determining the portability and suitability of the FAs book of business to Edward Jones.

  • Develop and maintain onboarding strategies and business plans to attract experienced candidates and successfully transition and integrate experienced candidates to Edward Jones
  • Promote the Edward Jones Opportunity and be able to discuss the Edward Jones Opportunity in context within the industry
  • Evaluate a Financial Advisor's book of business to determine portability and suitability for Edward Jones
  • Support the onboarding of experienced candidates, which includes partnering with various departments such as, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Training, Compliance, etc., and facilitate work space and technology needs
  • Gather marketing intelligence and identify competitive advantages on other firms across the industry
  • Maintain and be able to communicate advanced knowledge of Edward Jones as well as competitor firms products and services platform to experienced candidates

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate.

Hiring Minimum: $83900
Hiring Maximum: $142800

Education Required

  • Bachelors degree required

Certification Preferred:

  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC)

Minimum Years of Experience Required:

  • 10 years of Financial Services Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales and/or branch management experience with 7 plus years of leadership/management required.

Knowledge Required:

  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Ability to develop and implement new business strategies to support the changing market conditions and future firm growth
    • Knowledge of products, tools, and capabilities to meet our clients needs as well as the ability to articulate this understanding
  • Firm Knowledge:
    • Ability to propose and articulate the fit of producing transfers and the suitability of their business for the financial advisor position with professionalism and sensitivity
  • Ability to relay messages to the field and home office constituents
