Headquarters Graduate Summer Internship Program:
The Accelerated Leadership Program Summer Internship is a selective, full-time, paid program that matches your area of concentration, strengths, and interest with a business need at Edward Jones. For 10 weeks you will have the opportunity for exposure to our unique culture and diverse leadership team while doing challenging and meaningful work.
During your internship journey, you will be assigned an impactful project within one of our many departments and divisions, including Branch Development, Finance, Firm Strategy, Investment Advisory, and Operations. Past intern projects have included:
- Strategy and concept development
- Process improvement
- Audit, risk, and control
- Project management
- Leading change
- Data insights
Simultaneously, you will benefit from comprehensive organizational exposure, gaining insight into the interplay between different business areas and the opportunity to engage with peers, technical experts, and senior leadership to expand your professional network. Our speaker series provides valuable engagement with leaders across the Firm covering topics such as innovation, organizational culture, and career progression.
We foster a supportive learning and development environment, offering opportunities to enhance your core skill set for your internship and future career endeavors. As a culmination of your summer experience, you will deliver a capstone presentation to our leadership team, showcasing your accomplishments, connections, and insights gained during your tenure with us.
Benefits Statement:
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Part-time associates who work an average of at least 30 hours a week over a 12-month measurement period are eligible for:
- Medical and prescription drug coverage,
- Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account,
- Voluntary Benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness),
- Well-being programs (such as the Employee Assistance Program), and
- Retirement Plan (if compensated for 1,000 hours of service during the plan year).
In locations that require accruals of paid sick leave and paid time off, part-time associates are eligible for those benefits based on their hours worked and consistent with applicable law.
Hiring Minimum: $50.00 Dollars an Hour
Hiring Maximum: $50.00 Dollars an Hour

- Full-time, first-year graduate students
- GPA: 3.0
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional / full time work experience
- Demonstrate prior leadership and self-development, both in professional and campus settings
- Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrate strategic and critical thinking abilities
- Able to interface and network with people at all levels of the organization
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- The Internship Compensation is 50 dollars an hour
Career Opportunities after the Internship
The internship is designed to feed into to our Accelerated Leadership Program (ALP) opportunity. Upon successful completion, interns will have the opportunity to apply for this two-year leadership development rotation program.
