Edward Jones is investing in maturing our Enterprise Risk Management capabilities and is seeking an Enterprise Risk Leader to lead our Risk Intelligence capability.

The Enterprise Risk Leader executes the development, implementation, governance and continuous improvement of the Edward Jones Enterprise Management framework pillars and programs. This position is responsible for leading the enablement of Enterprise risk capabilities, providing risk consultation across the Enterprise, aggregation and prioritization of the Enterprise risk profile, building and enabling our Enterprise risk culture and ensuring alignment of our risk framework to the firm's strategic objectives. The Enterprise Risk Leader leads a team of Enterprise Risk Managers (individual contributors/SMEs) and is directly responsible to an Enterprise Risk Director. This Enterprise Risk Leader will be primarily responsible for our Risk Intelligence capability, which includes the Data, Visualization, and Reporting components of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
What You'll Do:
- Executes Enterprise risk strategies, in alignment with the company's strategic objectives and our Enterprise Risk Management strategy.
- Leads a team of Enterprise Risk associates in achieving the department's Risk Intelligence objectives including developing, managing, and executing the components of the Enterprise Risk Management framework and capability. This includes Risk Data & Technology, Risk Reporting, Key Risk Indicators, and Risk Visualization.
- Develops Enterprise Risk Management programs, policies, standards and processes to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Equips team members with the knowledge and skills to achieve outcomes and inform the quality and prioritization of deliverables.
- Partners within ERM and with senior leaders and stakeholders to integrate risk visualization and reporting into business decisions. This includes the creation of impactful data, information, and metrics to be used as part of framework and governance processes to enhance transparency of the firm's risk profile and "run the business" activities.
- Aggregates and provides risk insights regarding the components of the Enterprise risk profile to ensure effective risk management and prioritization of our most significant risks at the firm level.
- Ensures the organization's risk management framework and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization.
- Advises and consults regarding risk topics across the Enterprise as a relationship manager to either functional areas or first line risk teams to ensure alignment to our Enterprise Risk Management framework.
- Ensures effective risk management practices are embedded into the company's governance ecosystem and decision-making processes
- Leads components of the Enterprise Risk system that fosters a collaborative, accountable, transparent and proactive risk culture across the organization.
- Work closely within Enterprise Risk Management and with business stakeholders to provide repeatable, timely, accurate and actionable risk reporting, key metrics, and information aligned to: 1) the company's strategic objectives and our Enterprise Risk Management strategy and 2) governance structures, roles and responsibilities,
- Administration and oversight of the firm's GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) vendor and related tool(s) and guidance on usage to ERM and business partners.
- Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize risk management performance. Mitigates moderate risk situations with a high degree of autonomy that can impact the performance of an area.

- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of the financial services and wealth management industries.
- Experience developing and/or executing an enterprise risk management data, information and reporting program.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is strongly preferred.
Preferred Knowledge:
- Organizational knowledge and savvy to understand how to best apply industry frameworks to Edward Jones successfully.
- People leadership experience preferred.
Preferred Designations and/or Certifications: Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM),Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM), certifications/designations that support data, visualization and reporting knowledge and capabilities.
Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
