Position Schedule: Full-Time
We are seeking a senior leader to lead our Digital Operational Enablement Portfolio (OEP). This role will drive our five-year strategy to enhance user experience through automation, vendor partnerships, generative AI and in-house development, all based on value driven priorities. As a key leader in the Digital Product Management organization, you will play a critical role in transformation of the enterprise to leverage data, partnerships, and contribute to our Firm's purpose to improve the lives of our clients and colleagues, and together, better our communities and society.
The Operational Enablement Portfolio delivers the platforms and experiences supporting Operations, clients, branch teams, and other product teams at Edward Jones which enable:
- Associates and leaders across Edward Jones to turn insights into action through reports and dashboards
- Industry experts to deliver modern tools and technology.
- Verified and accessible data for other consumers to empower our users and consumers.
- Digital product teams to incorporate data and insights into their products to provide extraordinary user experiences, internally and externally.
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates. What you'll do:
- Lead and develop the vision and strategic direction for multiple digital product teams within the Operational Enablement Portfolio by establishing goals and measures of accountability.
- Influence General Partners and senior leaders across the Firm including Operations leaders, Digital Product Portfolio leaders, and other Business Leaders to align and deliver value to portfolio stakeholders.
- Partner with General Partners and senior leaders across the Firm to identify business opportunities, solve business challenges, and integrate solutions into digital experiences.
- Works with Technology counterpart to ensure stability, performance, and production of products within the portfolio.
- Key voice to the business on the portfolio, roadmap initiatives, planning and escalation.
- Establish and prioritize objectives for your area of responsibility and measures of accountability for results.
- Attract, develop and lead a team of Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Systems Analysts to achieving stated objectives, develop and maintain their product roadmaps, and leading high performing teams of cross-functional associates to deliver the promised value to users and achieve the product vision.
- Apply knowledge of business capabilities, portfolio users' needs and experiences, Edward Jones business strategy and objectives, and the financial services industry to inform portfolio strategy and decisions.
- Responsible for the compliance, roadmap strategy and development initiatives for the portfolio.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree and preferred Advanced Degree or Certification in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in financial, economic, or analytical role preferred; Financial services industry experience preferred
- Prior leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility, executive level oversight preferred.
- A robust understanding of full-cycle software development within an Agile framework
- Product orientation with a strong sense of ownership
