As an Internal Communication Senior Associate, you will be part of the global EcoVadis HR and Communication team, reporting to the Internal Communication Senior Manager. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure our teams are equipped with relevant information about company direction, projects, and operational changes and lead our key internal events. The internal communications team is committed to informing and connecting our teams through purposeful communication and your role will be critical in ensuring our success. 

What will this role look like?

Content Creation and Strategic Communication Support

  • Work with key stakeholders to research, write, edit, and proofread content
  • Advise and assist senior management with communication planning and tactical communication tasks
  • Coordinate the organization of internal events and meetings including content planning, scheduling, and hosting (All Hands, Co-CEO Openlines, Compass, Leadership) 

Internal Communication Strategy and Platform Management

  • Support strategic internal communication and change initiatives and implement our internal communication strategy
  • Administrate and manage the adoption of communication channels and platforms (Slack)
  • Collaborate with cross-department teams to formalize and ensure compliance with communication best practices
  • Leverage technology such as Generative AI to streamline communication and provide self-service tools to stakeholders

Qualifications

What skills and competencies are required?

  • Have a great professional attitude and act as an ambassador for other EcoVadians 
  • Openness to ‘testing and learning’ - you should be proactive, willing to show initiative and come up with new ideas
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal presentation skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and ease with intercultural communication - you should be approachable and comfortable approaching others to create connections, share information, and gather feedback
  • Some creative and visual communication skills and a good eye for detail - you should be at ease creating impactful slide decks and following brand guidelines 
  • Comfortable with our tech stack (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Slido) with some experience coordinating digital channels
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills - flexibility and agility to adapt to demands and meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English

What qualifications and experience are we looking for?

  • Some experience in a similar role or related field such as Internal Communication, HR, Marketing, Public Relations, or Event Management (2-5 years of experience would be ideal)
  • Previous international exposure in a dynamic environment is a must, ideally in a fast-growing or tech company
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, HR, Business, etc.
