We have two vacancies for Electronics Engineering Interns to join us in July 2025 for 13 months. What you'll do:
We have two Electronics Engineering Internships available across two of our UK locations (Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, and Cwmbran, South Wales). Each placement requires the intern to be involved in hardware and software development including; design configuration management, validation testing and new product design.

Key activities will include:
- Assist Lead Engineers in carrying out new product development tasks including schematic design, research and prototype testing.
- Software testing and potentially coding depending on current experience.
- Creating documentation and date for new designs; technical report writing.
- Create and execute design validation test scripts.
- Investigate design change requests, recommend solutions and implement engineering design changes.
- Actively participate in peer and formal design reviews.
In addition to the technical aspects of the role the expectation is that placement students build relationships with the extended cohort across the UK and enhance their skills through training workshops and other local site initiatives.
Qualifications:
Studying for Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar. On target to achieve at least a 2.1 (minimum).
Skills:
Technical writing, Design, Electronical/Electronic Application knowledge, CAD packages.
High level of motivation, flexibility and team spirit. Able to work independently and demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines. Displays curiousity and competent communicator.
