Warehouse Worker - 2nd Shift

Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Warehouse Worker - 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Roanoke, VA facility.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.08 per hour plus additional $1.25 per hour shift differential. The core hours are 3:30pm-12:00am.

What you'll do:

  • Receive, fulfill, or ship orders to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Support a Zero Incident Safety Culture.
  • Active participant in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Use RF (radio frequency) units to scan barcodes.
  • Opportunity to learn to operate material handling equipment.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic):

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
  • No relocation is provided for this opening. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of Roanoke, VA will be considered

Preferred:

  • Previous experience operating material handling equipment
  • Previous experience using an RF Scanner
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to frequently move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
