Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Vice President, Global Benefits to join our team. This position is based at Eaton's Beachwood, OH corporate office and relocation is offered.

The Vice President, Global Benefits will manage the design and governance of Eaton's global benefit programs, overseeing a budget of over $50M and delivering more than $300M in annual U.S. medical costs, overseeing a defined benefit pension plan of about $2.6B in assets, and 401(k) plans with about $7.4B in assets, as of the end of 2023. In addition, this role will oversee benefit plans in 76 countries outside of the U.S. This role involves ensuring the compliance and effectiveness of benefit plans globally.

An essential focus will be on creating cost-effective and value-add plans for employees, aimed at maximizing their benefits flexibility while controlling expenses. This includes negotiating with providers to secure favorable rates, implementing wellbeing initiatives and offering personalized benefits that enhance the employee experience. By leveraging data analytics and feedback, the Vice President will continuously optimize the benefits portfolio to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the workforce and supports the company's financial objectives.

The Vice President will direct and manage a diverse team of benefits professionals, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This includes setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and encouraging collaboration and innovation. By utilizing each team member's strengths and supporting professional development, the Vice President will guide the team towards delivering comprehensive benefits solutions that meet the needs of employees worldwide.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Customize benefit programs to address diverse needs, considering cultural differences and local regulations.
• Develop communication strategies to inform employees about their benefits
• Monitor global benefits trends and suggest innovative solutions
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to align benefit offerings with the company's compensation strategy
• Implement flexible benefit options for different life stages and personal circumstances
• Promote mental health and well-being programs tailored to regional challenges
• Enhance benefits administration through technology
• Ensure equitable access to benefits for all employees
• Manage global captive insurance and global brokerage outside the U.S
• Serve as the governance link between global regions and senior leadership
• Lead the global wellness initiative and develop wellbeing incentives within the U.S. medical plan
• Oversee benefits activities in M&A transactions
• Act as a corporate representative to UK Pension Trustees and liaise with global retirement plan committees

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum fifteen (15) years of professional experience in human resources or relevant roles with increasing responsibility in premier, value-driven corporate environments.
• Proven experience in leading and managing global wellness initiatives and developing wellness incentives.
• Expertise in leveraging in-depth knowledge of global benefits practices and regulations to drive value-added solutions
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgeting and forecasting
• Comprehensive experience in leading and managing all aspects of benefits in M&A transactions, ensuring smooth transition and integration of employee benefits between merging companies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future

The expected annual salary range for this role is $198749.97 - $291499.96 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
