Position Overview:

Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions Business (GEIS) is hiring a Vice President & General Manager in our Latin America Region. The role is based in Iztapalapa, MX. Relocation assistance is offered for this position. This position requires 25% travel.

The Vice President & General Manager, LATAM, for Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions Business (GEIS) will be pivotal in driving both short-term and long-term growth of the business unit. They will develop and implement strategies for business development, sales, marketing, and product management. This role includes coordinating a global organization with responsibilities in R&D, operations, finance, and HR. The GM will enhance financial performance by ensuring profit targets are met and exceeded.

Leading the LATAM Region Leadership Team, the VPGM will unite business and functional support operations. They will work closely with regional, global, and corporate staff to boost process efficiency and performance excellence. The VPGM will craft and execute market penetration plans focused on diversification, energy transition, and digitalization. They will seamlessly manage global project coordination, setting the stage for worldwide collaboration.

Additionally, the VPGM will ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by overseeing business unit operations, sales, supply chain, and logistics. Their leadership will guarantee stellar quality, timely delivery, and superior services. The VPGM will also focus on fostering a high-performance culture and empowering talent within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in business leadership in operations, finance, sales, marketing, or engineering. Electrical industry preferred.
• Proven experience in directing +150ML revenue business unit operations, including sales, supply chain, and logistics, to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and superior service delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in cultivating a high-performance culture, empowering talent, and fostering the growth of future leaders.
• Skilled in aligning sales, marketing, engineering and operations to enhance product offerings and ensure unmatched reliability.
• Strong track record in strategic communication and driving innovation, particularly in strategic account management within the Latin American region.
• Extensive experience in managing operations, navigating international regulatory environments, and ensuring global supply chain efficiency. Multi country management experience is preferred.
• Proficient in utilizing advanced project and program management tools to drive operational efficiency.
• Experienced in managing large budgets and P&L responsibilities, making data-driven strategic business decisions, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Committed to using customer feedback for continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings and services.
