Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Value Stream Leader.

What you'll do:

Job Summary
The position is responsible for providing leadership to ensure the deliverables of a value stream are met and improved.
The Value Stream leader is in charge of a group of product families that have similar manufacturing flow and processes. He will be accountable for the performance of the Value Stream in term of service and cost. He will have also the responsibility to identify opportunities to eliminate waste and reduce cost.
The Value Stream Leader works closely with the function leaders to support his action.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
  • Assure every day delivery to customers on time at the highest standard of quality,
  • Uses explicitly defined visual processes to track and follow up assignments and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Hold and coach a root-cause orientation to corrective action to tackle problem on daily basic with a real time resolution spirit.
  • Drive the Value Stream Operational Excellence by using the Lean tools. Able to personally lead lean process improvement
  • Manage/Increase Capacity for the products in the Value Stream to support Customer demand (Staffing, Equipment, tooling ...),
  • Develop awareness of Market/Customer products to lead Demand Management/Service Requirement and challenge input in SIOP process,
  • Is able to see waste and opportunity even in leaner processes. Drive reduction or elimination of this waste in the value stream: scrap, downtime, overtime, industrial supply ...
  • Insists on compliance with requirements for visually tracking process performance and execution.
  • Supervise expenses, activities, workload and training of the Value Stream Organization according to the budget,
  • Manage budget and cost accuracy for the Value stream Organization,
  • Team work with product development for new project launches in the value stream,
  • Control of Inventory of the Value Stream (RM, WIP, FG).

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in leadership position in Operations
  • Working knowledge in Manufacturing and Multi-site Environment.
  • Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Lean or green belt certification. Black belt is a plus
  • Excellent communicator and team builder,
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills,

  • Analytical, fact based problem solver,
