Eaton's new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, was completed in November 2023. The 16,500 m² site houses research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service under one roof, which will create plenty of additional jobs.

As one of the world's largest manufacturers of three-phase uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), Eaton's expansion in this area is driven by strong business growth and the demand for systems that ensure business continuity. Situated in a prime location next to the Helsinki airport, the Vantaa facility will serve as Eaton's Critical Power Solutions headquarters and a center of excellence for data centers.
What you'll do:
As a Validation Engineer Trainee, you will:
- Perform testing of UPS units and systems
- Develop the laboratory to function effectively while following correct procedures and health and safety guidelines
- Build test setups, test these systems and document the test results
- Develop processes and documentation
- Provide technical support to other functions
- Oversee safety and condition of laboratory equipment
- Follow requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 2017 (General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories)

Qualifications:
- You are a B.Sc. or Master's student in Electrical Engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in electronics or electrical installations
- Electrical system knowledge: UPS installations and safety
- Understanding of embedded firmware
- Familiar with common tools and methods to work in high power lab environment, such as: oscilloscope, power analyzer and meters
- Self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, task oriented
