Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Utility Technician - 3rd Shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $18.89 per hour.

Job Summary: Eaton's Electrical Sector is seeking a Utility Technician to join our team. This role will be dedicated to maintaining training and supporting operations within the department. The ideal candidate will be a versatile floater, proficient in all roles within the department, and capable of ensuring seamless operations and training.

• Training and Development (70%):
o Implement, update, and maintain department training procedures for new and existing employees.
o Participate in updating training materials and bringing new ideas/proposals to enhance the process.
o Provide feedback on employee training as part of the performance evaluation process for new hires and contingent workers.
o Conduct hands-on training sessions and learning throughout the shift.
o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training given to employees.
o Maintain department training records and documentation.
o Provide ongoing support and mentorship to employees.
• Operational Support (30%):
o Assist in daily operations across various roles within the department.
o Perform machine setups, troubleshooting, and operation.
o Collaborate with the Group Leader, Job Setter, and Production Supervisor to meet Safety, Production, and Quality requirements.
o Ensure compliance with Quality Procedures, including Quality Alerts, process deviations, and error-proof device functionality.
o Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and play books (work instructions).
o Complete 5S+ activities daily to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
• Required:
o High school diploma or GED.
o 1 Year of Experience training others.
o Legally authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship.
o Reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, South Carolina (no relocation provided).
• Preferred:
o 3 years of manufacturing experience.
o Experience with quality standards and inspection techniques.
o Experience in operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
o Proficiency in slitting, cutting, and folding major insulation paper.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
