We are seeking experienced Application Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in providing technical support and value added solutions to our customers in the transportation segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Electrical Systems, design principles and applicable codes for Transport segment. Responsibilities include designing and proposing Eaton's Range of solutions for Transport Infrastructure projects which includes Airports, Railways, Ports etc.
What you'll do:
- Provide technical expertise to internal Sales team and external customers
- Analyse customer requirements and develop customized engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with Cross Functional teams to ensure optimized solution proposal to customer
- Support customers with product selection, application design.
- Hand-on experience for Substation projects
- Prepare project documentation, including project reports, drawings, and specification.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience dealing with specifications of Clients in transport segment project engineering within the electrical distribution industry
Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including substations, transformers, and switchgear
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in AutoCAD, electrical design software, and related tools
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC/ IEEE/UL.
