What you'll do:

The Transition Program Manager will be responsible for leading an Integrated Project Team to successfully execute projects according to the Eaton STP ProLaunch Process through effective guidance, product development, efficient resource allocation and reliable reporting to leadership. This includes transitions project(s) and/or critical business projects and problem resolution projects and their budget allocatoins.
"Facilitate effective communications between Program & Project Transition teams in the Execution, Monitoring, and Controlling of STP Transition programs/projects.
Maintain the Master Plan of assigned Projects and Schedules while following the established best in class processes in alignment with the Operations Transitions procedures & training

Report out on timing and program P&L analysis to enable leadership to readily access the health of the projects and take corrective action as required.
Integrate the budget related to program transitions for profit planning making sure the programs are within the budget once they are launched
Forecast resource requirements for profit plan and resolve resource conflicts.
Provide critical path analysis, schedule change impact statements and schedule recovery planning. Support the Program and Project Managers with data for customer program reviews
Assist the project team members in the development of their specific task scheduling capabilities through mentoring and/or practice skill development.
Forecast, provide and maintain the program milestone attainment metrics with Integrated Program Schedule on a regular basis.
Ensure proper usage and due diligence taken in APQP/PPAP Project planning and Implementation.
Coordinate with "sending" sites to ensure adequate and appropriate technical and costing support is provided for the ""Receiving"" site team.
Represent Transition Projects from the "receiving" site, ensuring coordination and leading timely execution of the receiving site responsibilities and activities.
Ensures standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the project and project teams by coordinating Project Management reviews, preparing & publishing project metrics & reports.

Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech; MBA an added advantage
10 - 12 years in Project Management. Experience of managing manufacturing projects across global teams is essential.

Skills:

PMP or equivalent
Excellent communication skills; Profecient in English
Citizen of India
