Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Training Supervisor in Lincoln, IL.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

The Training Supervisor will develop and oversee the new employee training line. This role will provide new employees with a positive onboarding experience and familiarize them with the products and processes that are used across the facility. The incumbent is responsible for providing employees with training, coaching and mentoring during orientation and will follow up with employees are required.

Responsibilities:
• Manages the training tasks associated with onboarding of new employees.
• Develops and manages training plans, materials, and tasks.
• Provides coaching and guidance to employees during training and qualification periods.
• Ensures employees in training adhere to Eaton's Life Saving Rules and always follow PPE requirements.
• Facilitates, oversees, and audits the training line, ensuring it is maintained, serviced, and prepared to run.
• Provides feedback and assistance to new employees to ensure everyone the opportunity for success.
• Works with operations managers to determine and documents department assignments for new employees who complete training.
• Works in partnership with frontline Supervisors and Human Resources to identify employee training/development needs.
• Assists and participates in qualification assessments, re-qualifications, and cross-training activities.
• Promotes employee engagement by fostering open communication and soliciting feedback.
• Drives the development of employee capabilities, evaluates skills, and qualifications.
• Partners with Human Resources to provide constructive feedback on new hires.
• Participates in future training development projects.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with the labor union.
• Supervises assigned personnel.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Lincoln, IL facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in education, training, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Experience in driving training initiatives related to job qualification and/or skills assessment.
• Experience in manufacturing industry and performing in technical jobs.
