As a echnical Support Engineer, you will collaborate with local sales teams, area managers, end customers, partners, and service representatives to provide essential pre-sales and post-sales technical support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing technical inquiries and drafting quotations based on electrical diagrams and technical data within deadlines.
- Utilizing simulation tools to prepare outputs and assist customers in selecting components from the Eaton product portfolio.
- Delivering Level 1 technical support for hardware and software issues through various communication channels.
- Taking ownership of cases until resolution, coordinating site interventions, and initiating the RMA process for product replacements.
- Supporting the development of engineering software and localizing technical documentation.
- Fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service and sharing technical knowledge within the team.
Qualifications:
- Engineering or equivalent Technical Degree (Electrical is an advantage)
Skills:
- Proven experience in Electrical field/Industrial Engineering
- Advanced understanding of electrical products and applications
- Analytical mindset, sales and business acumen
- Fluent in English and in German
