What you'll do:

As Technical Sales Engineer your primary function is to follow up requests from customers and external Sales staff for expansions, system upgrades and new systems. You will support external Sales force located outside the HERNIS office in Norway.

Responsibilities:

  • Create technical solutions and quotations based on customers' needs and requirements for expansions, system upgrades and new systems.
  • Support Sales and other divisions with in technical advice, quotation, system design, order registration attend customer meetings through Teams and locally in their region.
  • Assist the Sales Department with Credit applications and screening of business relations/projects.
  • Register issues in issue handling system.
  • Follow the Sales processes and corresponding Tender Vets, CLM and C360 updates.
  • Have knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Technically responsible for all quotations and support to external Sales so commercial conditions are acceptable for the BU.
  • Participate on Exhibitions, conferences and other marked related events.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical, IT or mechanical engineering or other related field
  • 5 years' relevant work experience
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, CRM system)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Well-organized, responsible and ethical
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Technical knowledge of electronics and IP based systems is an advantage
  • Customer focused, service minded, effective communication skills, good cooperation skills
