Eaton's Power System business is currently seeking a Technical Product Marketing Leader for Digital Utility Grid Edge Controls and Devices. This position can be in any Eaton US facility or an approved remote US location.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director Marketing, this position is highly strategic and creates the long-term strategy of the Digital Utility Controls offering across different product platforms. The role spans strategy, technical requirements management, and product marketing.

As the Technical Product Marketing Leader, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and overseeing the digital utility controls strategy, systems, and platforms for the global utility segment. It will be critical to build alignment around a cohesive digital controls roadmap across multiple Eaton functions and businesses and support the development of global offerings. To be successful in this role, this person will need to be agile across multiple arenas: including strategy, technical requirements management, and product marketing.

Essential Functions:
• Define, execute, and oversee the digital utility controls systems and platforms for the global utility segment Build alignment and support the development of global offerings.
• Align the team around a cohesive digital controls roadmap, including Technical Platform and/or Application Programming Interface features and functions.
• Accountable for the P&L and the growth of the product line
• Oversee investment planning, product management, and offer rationalization.
• Build attraction to the Eaton controls platform by focusing on the customer experience throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Align commercial teams around a common set of priorities, including roadmap and commercial plans for software platforms enabling Eaton control devices.
• Explore advanced analytics, cloud-based data acquisition enablement, and alternative business models to capture value generated through insights created from grid operating data.
• Establish offer pricing strategy (data-oriented offers, service offers, software solutions) - value-based pricing for data insights, platform.
• Define manufacturing strategy to ensure resiliency and drive economies of scale.

Position Criteria:

• Strong data analytics capabilities and business modeling skills.
• Strong management and cross-functional management capabilities
• Ability to work in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments.
• Ability to learn, articulate, and support complex products and technologies.
• Ability to conduct market research to understand customer needs.
• Ability to conduct competitive benchmarking of features and price, new product requirement definition, business plan development, value proposition development, new product launch, forecasting.

Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of technical product management or related experience in embedded controls, software products, and services
• Experience with utility industry.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols, cybersecurity requirements, and agile program management processes
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Education:
• An undergraduate degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Eaton recognizes this role as a critical position within the corporation and will create a compelling package consisting of a base salary, employee incentive compensation and complete benefits.
