Eaton Electrical Division is looking for a Technical Field Service Engineer for the southern Italy area, reporting to the Manager in Rome.
The Technical Field Service Engineer is responsible for on-site technical support for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and Life Safety Products, focusing on commissioning, maintenance, and repair in the assigned area.

What you'll do:
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and Eaton's internal regulations (EHS), with ongoing training.
- Schedule and perform technical interventions (commissioning, maintenance, and repair). Inform the manager of any corrective actions regarding the interventions carried out.
- Complete and distribute Field Service reports, and archive them.
- Provide technical support and basic training to customers and ASPs.
- Manage the assigned spare parts inventory.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for customers with service contracts.
Qualifications:
- Technical high school diploma or higher.
- Minimum 4/5 years of on-site service experience. Knowledge of UPS will be considered a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English.
- Good knowledge of electronics and electrical engineering.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite and predisposition to use specific service software.
- Experience with complex systems, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with customers.
