The Team leader in the field of mechancial engineering plays a crucial role in overseeing and guiding a team of mechanical engineers across all locations (Soest, Riom, Cwmbran) within Life Safety.
What you'll do:
- Lead a team of mechanical engineers in designing and developing mechanical systems for Life Safety products, managing project plans, timelines, and resources in collaboration with project managers and technical leaders;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and product architects to integrate mechanical designs into overall product development;
- Develop mechanical design concepts, prototypes, and 3D CAD models, managing the design process, including simulation and testing, while ensuring compliance with EATON's engineering standards;
- Provide Agile coaching focusing on Scrum, Lean, and Kanban practices, while identifying technology leverage opportunities across product lines;
- Lead critical program elements related to supply chain strategy, business process improvement, and supplier engagement and development;
- Oversee production processes to maintain quality, productivity, and cost standards;
- Support plant and company safety programs, promoting adherence to safety requirements;
- Identify training needs and organize skill development programs for team members;
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment;
- Recognize and reward team achievements to encourage motivation and performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master's degree of Engineering;
- Minimum 7 to 9 years of experience.
Skills:
- Proficiency knowledge of technologies ,technical project management, mechanical design and talent management of mechanical resources;
- Excellent organizational skills , attention to details , ability to organize and prioritize the work, ability to work in team, to work under pressure.
