Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Team Lead - Tool and Die. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $30.21 per hour. As the Team Lead in Tool and Die, you will:

• Layout, construct, alter and repair a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges and be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Lead a team to set up, and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled machines
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dies to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
• Drive improvements in Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI).
• Meet prior to shift start to plan and prepare how the shift can help with the needs of the plant.
• Regular coordination with Engineering and Management Team.
• Assure that the appropriate equipment and tools are provided, adequately maintained, and safely operated.
• Assist and train employees in relation to Tool and Die maintenance and repair.
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- 2 - 5 year of manufacturing, design, tooling, and tool designing.
- Experience and hands on knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficient in operating machines to include CNCs, Lathes, Mill, and others.
- 6 months of leadership experience.
- Previous experience following work instructions.
- Previous experience interpreting mechanical and assembly drawings.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining processes, procedures, and best practices.

- Work safely and produce effectively with minimal supervision.
- Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
- Regularly lift 35 pounds with or without accommodation and lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
- Read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
- Manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within team environment.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint).
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
