Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Team Lead. The core hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.
What you'll do:
This position coordinates production activities for assigned areas including assurance that safe work practices are followed, acceptable quality levels are maintained, and optimum productivity levels are achieved.
- Maintains production control boards/Tier boards in area
- Recommends work schedule for area, including overtime and staffing, estimates worker hour requirements, and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules as instructed by supervisor
- Escalates all corrective actions to supervisor
- Ensures all work instructions are followed in assigned areas
- Assists supervisor in defining current associates level of training, cross training needs, training plans, maintaining a training matrix, and training employees in new operations and equipment
- Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine information such as material to be used, type of operations, and sequence of operations required to machine parts to print specifications
- Examines defective machinery to determine cause of malfunction and reports need for machine repairs
- Inspects work in progress and finished products
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
- Analyzes and resolves work issues and assists co-workers in solving issues
- Assists in production as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two years in manufacturing environment
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applications must be US persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business reports
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work weekends and extended shifts as needed
