What you'll do:

  • Supporting research and new product development in Eaton's Mission Systems Division (MSD).
  • Responsible for requirements management, system architecture development, and supporting system integration and test.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to other SE engineers based in US and in Global Teams as well as serve as an individual contributor.
  • The product and systems are thermal fluid and dynamic mechanical systems that support aerospace applications.
  • These aerospace applications are diverse and will primarily include aircraft refuelling, and actuation systems.
  • Self-motivated to proactively learn about the technical domain of the given system and identify how and where the systems engineering discipline can create the highest value.
  • Experience tailoring systems engineering practices to program scope and need.
  • Work as a member and partner of the product team generating SE work products and providing technical guidance to incorporate systems engineering methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in aerospace industry as System Engineer
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with MBSE using SySML language
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a group delivering SE work products
  • Demonstrated ability to balance SE discipline with product team

Skills:

  • Master's degree in System Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience with CAMEO
  • 5-10 years of experience with DOORS
  • 5 years of direct experience managing engineering groups
  • Direct experience with participation in design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR..)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complete product life cycle.
  • Relationship building and ability to balance SE discipline into programs
  • Demonstrated experience working with global M&S teams
