Primary responsibility of this position will be to :

1. Maintain and improve Systems Engineering and drive related tasks e.g. Requirements and Achitecture definition
2.He/she will coordinate with product managers and technical personnel and lead and support systems engineering related activities in the product lifecycle
3. The Systems Engineer will collaborate with team members located in Bonn, EEIC Prague, and other locations in order to consult and engage in problem solving, product improvement, risk and cost reduction.

" Provides technical Systems Engineering expertise in the assigned team

Create a System Architecture in SysML, considering the MBSE (model based systems engineering) approach

* Understand the MCR ( Marketing Customer requirement) document and translate the requirements into a SysRS ( Systems requirement) documents and then link the SysRs to DVPnR ( Test Plan)

Develops Systems Engineering related deliverables like requirement specification and DVP&R, consults and perform Systems engineering related reviews

Coordinates and communicates with other departments to support project success in cross-departmental projects.

Planning, organizing and leading reviews of work products

Work according to given processes and EATON project development framework (PROLaunch)

Trains, mentors and provides guidance concerning Systems Engineering to the engineering staff

Maintain integration of Systems engineering progress into the Product Development engineering processes to meet industry standards and practices

Support and lead of engineering tasks e.g. requirement- and change-management including FMEA- (Failure Mode and Effects and Criticality Analysis) and lesson learned measures.

For guidance use: DFSS (Design for Six Sigma), SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination)/ CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration)"

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Computer Science / Electrical engineering
7+ years

Skills:

"
Background in electronics and embedded systems
Domain specific development knowledge regarding (embedded) electronic hardware systems
Knowledge of MS-Office and SysML
Experience in industrial systems engineering, development or testing of electromechanical/electronic products
Experience with Product Development Lifecycle
Experience in collaboration with distributed ("virtual") development teams at different international locations
Good problem-solving skills and process oriented working style
Fluent in English (oral and written), additional language preferred (German, Czech, Dutch)
Preferred DFSS training and System Engineering related certification
* Additional basic knowledge regarding Mechanical Design is an advantage"
