Collaborating with Agile teams, we explore solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on the best path forward. Working closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects, our goal is to deliver solutions that align with the broader architecture guardrails.

Job responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the planning, definition, development, and high-level design of complex product solutions and architectural alternatives
- Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines
- Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches
- Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements
- Consider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions and operate accordingly
- Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect and adapt events
- Plan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired business outcomes
- Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation
- Effectively negotiate with the business to ensure nonfunctional work (e.g. patching, platform upgrade etc.) is properly prioritized and worked on to reduce the accumulation of technical debt over time
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI solutions, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with senior IT and business leaders, enterprise architects, and Cyber Security teams.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of machine learning workflows and manage the lifecycle of large language models.
- Design and optimize prompts to guide the behavior of language models and provide strategies to improve their accuracy.
- Advise on optimizing token usage for cost-effectiveness and improved performance
Qualifications:
Basic (required) Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree Accredited Institution
• Minimum seven (7) years in the software industry
• Minimum three (3) years in Azure Open AI, LLMOps, MLOps, Machine learning, RAG, Model Tuning and accuracy evaluation and API's and Azure Cloud Services
• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of one of the following locations listed to be considered: Beachwood, OH: Galesburg, MI: Houston, TX: Menomonee Falls, WI: Moon Township, PA: or Raleigh, NC
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
• Extensive experience utilizing best practices in software engineering
• Extensive experience developing enterprise grade, highly scalable, highly performant applications and/or distributed systems
• Expert level skills in C#, Python
• Expert level understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
• Expert level understanding of DevSecOps, CI, and CD principles from code check-in through to deployment
• Extensive experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
• Solid understanding and proven usage of cybersecurity concepts such as encryption, hashing, certificates, PKIs, Threat Modeling, secure coding, and OWASP.
• Extensive experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Experience with multiple cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP. Certification is a plus
• Familiarity with models like LAMA , Mistral etc

- Advanced verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain and present technical concepts to all levels of the organization

- Good judgment, time management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on a technical team
