What you'll do:

  • Responsible for maintaining product and customer information, focusing on achieving a high degree of product data quality, consistency, and completeness for over 6 million products globally.
  • Communicate with various business stakeholders and technical teams across the enterprise and global regions and involves cleansing and maintaining product attributes across the Electrical group.
  • As part of the Marketing Organization within the Commercial Data Organization, this role provides master data support and front-end application support. Work closely with the business to gain in-depth knowledge of operations related to master data and collaborates with the Eaton IT Technology Center support team to assist both internal and external customers with front-end applications like Order Center and Eaton.com.
  • Enrich and standardize product data with specifications, images, associations, and other information stored in the centralized product data hub. Coordinate with the Eaton India Technology Center team to address front-end application issues and support internal and external customers.
  • For customer data quality, focus on cleaning and enriching customer data for Eaton's Electrical North America business. Ensure that customer data meets the required quality standards by analyzing various attributes. Responsibilities include golden record name and address clean-up, merging potential matches, DUNS number assignment, hierarchy and selling relationship management, all performed in our Enterprise Customer Master solution, Reltio.
  • Write and edit a large volume of product information, including product descriptions, attributes, and unstructured content.
  • Identify inconsistencies in product information and work through enterprise governance processes for standardization.
  • Participate in deployment projects (region-specific) with a broader scope of the Product Data Hub and Stibo, in coordination with IT and Product Management teams.
  • Address critical PDH data issues faced by the business.
  • Provide tactical assistance to Product Lifecycle Management in enterprise/business systems and services.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and health of product data globally.
  • Collect, organize, create, document, and enter detailed attribute information.
  • Collaborate with the technical team for system improvements and test integration mappings between different applications and PDH.
  • Work with various source systems (e.g., product drawings, ERPs) to source product attributes and specifications.
  • Present details of complex data quality or workflow issues for internal review.
  • Maintain a flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills as required.
  • Work directly with the sales and marketing teams in ES NA to improve product master data and customer master data in the Customer Data Hub (Reltio), ERP, and CRM.
  • Merge potential matches identified in Reltio to improve the unique records ratio. Clean and enhance customer data attributes such as name, address, DUNS, segmentation, and hierarchy.
  • Support the sales and marketing team in improving customer data quality by identifying data gaps and closing them with the help of business data owners and addressing anomalies in account master data.
  • Create a structured and well-defined data overview by analyzing customer data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure clean, enriched, and high-quality (accurate, complete, unique, consistent, and relevant) customer data is available for consumption by various business systems and processes.
  • Meet the SLA and TAT for activities as agreed upon by the business.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and front-end application support roles.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) and effective messaging.
  • Proficient in basic MS Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Knowledgeable about various systems and processes, including product management, manufacturing, marketing, engineering, front-end, and web applications.
  • Ability to coordinate with different functional leaders as needed and take on tasks as assigned.
  • Strong documentation and system analysis skills.
