What you'll do:

  • Design, model, configure, and implement functional software and process solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze business and system processes, recommending improvements using standard Eaton software and processes. Participate in implementations and third-level support as needed. Ensure regional solutions are auditable and compliant with business and control standards.
  • Gather requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, storyboards, site visits, process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, process analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and viewpoints.
  • Maintain in-depth functional and business process knowledge of target applications. Collaborate with divisional and regional business process owners on system requirements and processes.
  • Drive adoption of standard deployment models and emerging technologies. Ensure high levels of solution performance, availability, and stability, demonstrating a commitment to quality. Develop and communicate early watch reporting for new system deployments.
  • Manage requirements scope and disposition through process compliance, gap analysis, integration testing, and user acceptance methodology. Provide insights on the system implications of business process changes.
  • Identify consolidated, worldwide target processes. Demonstrate analytical skills to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs.
  • Apply project methodology and governance processes to change control, system development life cycle, and regression testing. Support end-to-end processes with an intermediate understanding of system touchpoints.
  • Work with the global governance team to ensure proposed solutions align with global standards. Participate in business process improvement committees as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience

Skills:

  • Strong system expertise gained through numerous full-life cycle projects, with in-depth knowledge of applications' technical capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of distribution and logistics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of IT and business, including executives and senior leadership teams (SLT).
  • Experience working across various Eaton functions and businesses using agile methodology.
